Sir Gentleman Driver expands his young notoriety: for the 2rd times this year, we were the “official dresser” of a major automotive event. After Le Tour de Corse 10.000 turns last April, it was “Les Grandes Heures de l'Automobile” which placed its trust in us.

It made it possible to present to the 8.000 daily visitors our 2017 and 2018 collections, designed around drivers and circuits, but also the blue and white t-shirts specially designed for LGHA on the theme of the poster.

He also saw legendary pilots pass on his “red carpet”: Erik Comas, François Chatriot, Bruno Saby, Bob Neyret, Jean-Pierre Jaussaud, Jean-claude Andruet, who played the game of photos on our stand, and autographs with an admiring public, but also Philippe Monneret, Arturo Merzario, Jean-pierre Nicolas.

Bruno Saby, ambassador of the Tour de Corse 10.000 turns 2018
Date: April 2018

This great French rally driver will be forever associated with the Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 with which he won the famous 1986 Tour de Corse Rally… That day, May 2, Henri Toivonen was killed with his co-driver Sergio Cresto in their Lancia Delta S4. Bruno retains a bitter taste of this victory… But in 1988, he won with panache his 2rd victory at the legendary Monte Carlo Rally. Then in Rally-Raid, he won the Paris-Dakar 1993 and becomes world champion FIA en 2005. Just that !
Finally in 2018, it is in his capacity as Ambassador of the Tour de Corse 10.000 turns, that this Gentleman Driver returns to these Corsican roads which have made him a legend of motorsport. For the occasion, he switched from the Peugeot 206 Turbo 16 to the Honda Civic Type R and its 2-liter VTEC TURBO engine, 320 hp, 400 Nm of torque… “It grows well! »He said on 1er day when driving on the Castellet circuit.
